Cubit - Keeping your smart stylish and connected

So I've recently found out about this great new product which will be launching soon and I thought it was to great not to share.

So its called a Cubit and it is a small wearable device that you can connect to your phone through bluetooth and it allows you to get direct notifications like text or emails. Which I thought was a great idea especially when your at work, with some friends or out for dinner as it allows your to keep your hands free of your phone and not look so antisocial with it constantly in your hand (which I am guilty of *hides face* lol)

They also come in a range of colours, they're easily wearable to your own style and preference and they have other great features such as custom LED Animation and a Range finder. You can find out more on there website here: www.getcubit.com

12 Random Facts about me

Hey Beaut's,

Its been a while, and I have missed the blogging atmosphere, But I'm back now and have mad a conscious decision to post a lot more, fingers crossed. So recently I was tagged by Rebecca to do a 20 Radom Facts About Me post. I haven't done a tag in a while and quite enjoy doing them as it allows my you guy's to get to know me a bit more so here goes :)

1) I'm addicted to my phone (Samsung Galaxy s3) and panic when I don't know where it is x_x

2) I love Fruit especially Kiwi's and pineapples

3) I love watching movies

4) Throughout my life I've been stuck in a lift 8 times

5) I love cooking

6) And I love eating :), especially trying different culture cuisine's

7) I would love to have my honeymoon in Disney Land Paris

8) I love spoken word poetry 

9) My 11year old nephew has been teaching me rollerskating tricks and I'm getting pretty good :) 

10) If I had one wish, I believe I would genuinely wish for world peace and a stop to poverty and hunger

11) I've learnt quite a bit of sign language from watching Mr Tumble

12) I'm the only person in my family who can't roll my tongue

Fall/Winter inspired NOTD

Hey,
So today as I looked out of my garden window I saw my first redish-autumn coloured leaf. Summers is officially over :(. But as I like to find the best in situations I decided to use it as an inspiration to create a Autumn NOTD. And the picture below show what I cam up with.

Right hand Detail

So I decided to use my Revlon Toffee Twist as my main colour and then I did a autumn tree design on my right pointy finger(Above) and a cluster of autumn coloured leaves on my left hand(below). I think this is the first time I have ever preferred my right to my left. (I've Been Practicing :D lol)

Fashion Meets Music

Hey guys,
So I've pretty much been M.I.A for the first week of september thats because I've been helping a friend out with her Fashion boutique pop up shop in Stratford Westfield. This was with Fashion Meets Music, who I worked with before at the Afro hair and beauty show. The shop is a platform for up and coming designers, models or sellers who are either promoting or selling their stuff. And there is also going to be some little work shops and talks from established models and designers during the 6 weeks which is free to pop along too.

So heres a quick picture of the before and after of the shop I helped to put together. With the help of an amazing fashion director and the Fashion Meets Music C.E.O Dennica. And there is also a few pics of my favourite things in the store.

So on Friday the 6th we had an amazing Launch party, with great music, drinks and food, a fashion show and music performances. The turnout was amazing and it was a great chance to network with press and designers as well as a chance to shop and of course we made some great sales :)

The shop is going to be open for the next 6weeks, so feel free to pop in and say hi :)

End of August: OOTD

Hey guys, 

surprisingly its the end of August and in London the sun is still out :), I have defiantly been loving the weather the past couple of days, Its been hot but not 32°c Baking like the heatwave fought-night. 

Any who heres my O.O.T.D Im wearing today to meet up with some friends over lunch and drinks for a catch up. I didn't wanna be to over dressed so I've decide to go casual with a loose floral blouse, high waisted disco pants, and my curved wedges. 

Leather pants: EbaySeller / Blouse: Newlook / Wedges: Primark

I thought the pink shoes would help break up the monochrome look. Haven't decided on a bag yet but it will probably be either my pink or black clutch.

Marley twist / Havana braids hair style ideas

Hey guys

I'm here to share some of my favourite go to hairstyles I've been wearing this summer. Although my hair is in chunky twist these hairstyles are definitely transferable to box braids or all hair types with some length. So I hope these are helpful to someone :)

I love having Marley twist as they are a great protective hair style, they keep your ends sealed and I am easily able to wash and moisturise my hair while they are in the style. I also love how versatile they are as they can pretty much be manipulated into any style. Todays NOTD

Hey guys,

Here's todays NOTD, I couldn't decided what to do so I went with a combination of designs. Using the beige, black and pink as my main colours.

Im surprised how neat my right hand managed to turn out. This is the first time I actually prefer it over my right. Practice makes perfect :)

OOTD: Maxi skirt and Sun hat

So heres a quick post to show you guys one of my Summer Ootd. This was from about a weeks ago when going to watch the X- factor auditions with my friend. The sun hat was a must that day as it was 34°C and I can defiantly say it helped keep me cool.

OMG!!!!!!! Its August already: Elle Freebies

Hi Beauts,

Im on my way to Brighton with some friends to have a nice relaxing day on the beach in the sun. So earlier today my Elle magazine came through the post, so I decided to take it with me for some light reading at the beach. Im not to sure how this post is going to turn out as I'm doing It on my phone lol, but anyway's its just a quick post to show you this September Issues Freebies. 

So here in this issue, with a gorgeous picture of Katy Perry on the front. So with it I got a small bottle of hair spray by Bb - Bumble and bumble which is a thickening hairspray. I've never heard of this company before so Don't know much about there products. It says it can be used on wet or dry hair before blow drying, However I hardly ever blow dry my hair, but I love trying new things :) so instead I'll spray it on my hair after washing to see if it holds in my curls. So look out as I'll will be doing a review very soon. 

The second thing was some XY nail colours, which came with a Peugeot advertisement. They are press on nail colours and I must say I'm loving the colour. At first I thought it was a bit weird having nail colours advertising a car, but then it is in a Fashion mag so I Guess it goes lol. Will definatly be trying these out soon aswell.
