So I've been looking at getting a year subscription of a beauty sample box for a while now. So I've been looking at various sites. They are a good way to try out products that you otherwise wouldnt try due to not knowing about them, or being hesitant to trying something new. I had done a post a while back when I brought one from latest in beauty which I thought was a great purchase but still was sold on the brand yet.

So this Late Post is of my March Glossy Box (yes I know its a late post x_x, I just hadn't got around to posting it).

Good price at Only £10 (+£3.25 p&p) - even cheaper with longer subscriptions
Good variety of brands, from hight street to a little more luxurious
Beautiful packaging
Great magazine, with loads of tips and tricks

Con's
Small sample sizes
Not many samples, I got alot more with the latest in beauty box

Has anyone else tried out any of these product, or used GlossyBox before?

April First - NOTD

Pinch Punch First of the month & Happy April Fool's

Its the first of April, the daffodils and sun is out, and the ice-cream van was parked outside work.
Yes!! Spring is defiantly here :). So as it was such a nice day in London today, I'm in a bright mood so I decided to do a Spring inspired NOTD, And since pastels are in season I went with a pale purple with a single white nail.

What do you think of my NOTD?

Easter half term/ Spring break is next week :), hopefully the weather holds up. I cant wait!!!!

Fur Nail Varnish

Hey guys,
Here's a review on this fur nail varnish by Pretty.

I came across this fur nail varnish whilst in the pharmacy the other day and thought it was worth trying out, Plus it was only £1 lol. I had been considering trying out the Fur-Effect Nails for a while now but couldnt find them anywhere so I thought this would be a close alternative.

So above are the pictures of the final outcome of the varnish.

I was actually surprised at how smooth the finish was, I thought It would feel a bit like glitter varnish but it doesn't at all, which I think is a big pro. I stopped at 2 coats, as I still wanted the blue to be seen, but I feel as though 1 or 2 more layers would give you a great full coverage fur look. 

Has anyone else tried anything similar?

Accessories Favourites

Hey guys, 

So me and my friend were just talking about the importance of accessories, which everyone is probably aware of as they can defiantly make an outfit, Like a great bag or a Killer pair of heels. As we were on the subject she was saying that you could never have enough jewellery on but I have realised that I usually follow the 3's a charm + Plus a pair or earrings rule, to avoid over accessorising with my jewellery. 

So below I wanted to share my favourite jewellery combination at the moment.

My Silver round coloured Necklace, Teamed with a silver double knuckle ring and my Double fingered Jaguar ring.

I love her style as she Looks good, whether she's dressed up or keeping it casusal, and she hardly ever gets it wrong. She never over accessorises and defiantly know's how to dress for the occasion.

She also kept up her wow factor whilst pregnant, making sure she always looked Amazing, without trying to hard and make sure she was comfortable. And post pregnancy she looked fab (with a little help from a corset, which she's not ashamed to admit. Defiantly on my Yummy Mummy list.

Spring 2014 - Monochrome meets pastels

Hey guys,

Heres a quick look book I made on this upcoming spring pastels.

These are some looks I would personally liked to wear. As I sometimes feel as-though wearing pastel colours can make my look 'childish' or over 'girly' I like to pair it with a base colour, to help me look mature. (My previous pastel OOTD)

So This is why I cam up with these three looks I decided to incorporate some of last seasons monocrome which I absolutly love and added a hint of pastels.

Nail Inspiration: Yay or Nay?

Hey guys, So I was 'nose'ing around on instagram for nail inspiration and I came across these designs on a girls page (cant remember her name), But I had to get a screen grab them, I think there georous.

I dont know if I'd be brave enough for the 'twirly' nail, but I'm loving the rest. I've been giving the pierced nail some consideration for a while now and I am defiantly pro nail piercing. But the floral pattern, the gems, the paisley design and the pastel colours are defiantly an inspiration for my summer nails 2014 :).

What do you guys think of the twirl? and has anyone else tried the pierced nail before?

Britney Spear's Believe - Review

Hey dolls

So in this post I'll be reviewing the Britney Spears Believe eau de perfume that I recently purchased.

So, I was in beauty base today, going to top up on some new nail varnishes and get a new bottle of my favourite Rihanna Reb'l Fluer perfume. So while I was in there I saw this britney spears Believe perfume, It had a weird but gorgeous bottle which drew me to it, I always have a love for bottles and packaging. So I had to smell it and I instantly feel in love. It has an absolutely gorgeous smell, its a very sweet, kind of fruity smell, Its quite hard to explain but it is very feminine with a hint of sophistication. The smell also seems to be long lasting so far since i sprayed on the sample which is a mega plus in my books. 
So I ended up getting the 1oz/30ml bottle, as Its cute and travel sized. And Its in My favourite colours Purple & Green :). I was also extra happy as It was on sale for £9.99, from £20 :D yay!!

Happy New Years

Pinch punch, First of the month. 

Where did the time fly, its 2014 already. It seems like just yesterday I was counting in 2013 but in actual fact I was counting in 2014 (literally lol). So as it is a new year and a new start I thought I'd

make a post slightly different from my usual beauty and fashion related post so instead I thought I'd start this year of with a reflection.

My Life

• I met some amazing people at various events, some I blogged about like FashionMeetsMusic, And I truly am grateful for the new people who have entered my life. I have so many new memories because of them and from that have become a better me. 
• I also have a gorgeous baby niece born in august, my sisters second child, so I'm now a auntie of two :), and I couldn't be happier. As my nephew is starting to getting annoyed of taking my pictures lol, I now have a new photographer but its going to be a while before I train her up. 
• I also started my new job as an art technician in a secondary school and I am currently loving it. All the staff are amazing and the kids sure do come up with the funniest things.
• But what I loved the most is how much time i was able to spend with family. Family birthdays, weddings, christening have been overwhelming but amazing this year.

My Blog

• Through writing my blog this year, I have learnt alot about myself and realised I can get a bit lazy x_x. lol, I've done so much and experienced so many things but didnt blog about it. sometimes its understandable as it isn't relevant to my blog topic, but there has been plenty of times when they were very much related but I just didn't have time to :(, but I hope to be more regular this year as blogging is something I love doing. 
• I also have a lot of new things planned for my blog including a meet-up event, which I've been planning for a while so look out for that. I also have a lot of other ideas in the direction I want to take this blog I hope you guys as my readers enjoy the change. 

Resolution 

 Keeping it realistic

Besides passing my driving practical this year (fingers crossed), I hope to just carry on learn new things and growing as a person through both my life and my blog.

Its a brand new year, Time to cheer :D
